Strathmore is about 45 minutes east of our studio at 4041 74 Ave SE, straight in on Highway 1. It is the longest haul of our service areas to the east, and the vehicles that come from it carry a very particular kind of wear.

This is farming country, and agricultural dust behaves differently from city dirt. It is fine, dry and slightly abrasive, and prairie wind drives it into every seal, vent and seam on the vehicle. Combine that with a daily Highway 1 commute into Calgary and you get abrasion on the paint and grit deep in the interior at the same time.

What Strathmore driving does to a vehicle

• Agricultural and grain dust. Fine, dry and abrasive. It works past door seals into the cabin and settles into carpet backing where vacuuming cannot lift it.
• Highway 1 commuting. A 45 minute run each way at highway speed means constant stone strike on the front end and heavy winter brine exposure.
• Open prairie wind. Wind-driven grit abrades paint from the sides, dulling doors and rocker panels rather than chipping them.
• Hail exposure. Strathmore sits in an active hail belt. Coating and film will not stop hail, but keeping paint corrected and protected makes post-storm assessment and repair far cleaner.

Every price below is a starting point for a standard sedan. Larger vehicles and heavier condition cost more, and we quote before any work begins.
