YYC Detail is owned by Danny and run by a team of trained detailing professionals, working out of a dedicated studio in southeast Calgary. Everything is done in-house: interior restoration, paint correction, ceramic coating, paint protection film and window tinting. Nothing is subcontracted out.

The distinction that matters most is how the work gets done. An automatic wash drags the same brushes across every vehicle that came before yours, which is exactly how swirl marks appear in the first place. Every vehicle here is washed, decontaminated and finished by hand, using paint-safe products and proper technique.

What that means for your car

• Hand washing, two-bucket method. Grit is rinsed out of the mitt rather than dragged back across your paint.
• Machine polishing, not filler. Swirls are corrected out of the clear coat instead of being hidden with glaze that washes away in a month.
• Extraction, not vacuuming. Calgary road salt soaks into carpet backing. Steam and shampoo extraction is the only thing that genuinely removes it.
• One vehicle at a time. Coating and correction work is booked in multi-day blocks because each stage needs proper curing time.

YYC Detail is IDA certified — accredited by the International Detailing Association, the industry body that sets training and testing standards for professional detailers. It is a certification most shops in Calgary do not hold.

We install premium 3M film for window tinting, and we work within Alberta’s legal limits on front side windows. If a shade you want would put you offside, we will tell you before you book rather than after you are pulled over.

We are at 4041 74 Ave SE, Calgary, open Monday to Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 10am–5pm. Being in the southeast puts us within an easy drive of Airdrie, Chestermere, Okotoks, Cochrane, Strathmore and Rocky View County — a large share of our work comes from those communities.
