Okotoks is about 30 minutes south of our studio at 4041 74 Ave SE, and because we sit in southeast Calgary we are the closest proper detailing studio to the town for anyone heading north on Highway 2 or 2A.

What Okotoks driving does to a vehicle

• Loose shoulder gravel. Highway 2A and the secondary roads throw stones year round, and not only at the front end — door edges and rocker panels take a beating.
• Wind-driven grit. Foothills wind carries fine abrasive dust that dulls paint gradually. It is why so many Okotoks vehicles look flat rather than chipped.
• Acreage and horse-property dust. Fine dry dust gets deep into vents and upholstery and keeps reappearing until the interior is properly extracted.
• Strong chinook sun. Bright winter sun combined with cold is unusually hard on dashboards and unprotected trim.
