XPEL window film installed in our shop at 4041 74 Ave SE, Calgary. It cuts cabin heat, blocks up to 99.9% of UV, adds privacy and won’t touch your GPS or phone signal. Most vehicles are done the same day.
Protects your skin and stops the dash, seats and trim from fading. UV gets through glass even in January.
XPEL ceramic film rejects up to 70% of the sun’s total solar energy, so the car cools faster and the A/C works less on a +30°C day.
Darker rear glass hides what’s on the seats, which is a real deterrent to smash-and-grab theft.
Film helps keep shattered glass in place in a collision instead of spraying the cabin.
The XPEL films we install are metal-free, so GPS, Bluetooth, toll tags and 5G work as normal.
Cuts glare from low winter sun and snow, a real problem on Calgary roads for half the year.

Bring the vehicle to 4041 74 Ave SE, Calgary. Most installs are finished the same day.
Each window is deep-cleaned, then the XPEL film is cut to shape and fitted so the edges sit clean against the glass.
Keep the windows up for 3 to 5 days, a little longer in cold weather. A slight haze in the first few days is normal and clears as the film cures.
YYC Detail installs premium XPEL window tint that cuts heat, blocks UV and adds privacy without the bubbling or purple fade of cheap film. Every install is done in our shop at 4041 74 Ave SE, with film cut and fitted to each window for a clean, factory-looking finish.
A 5-window sedan is $420 in regular XPEL film or $560 in ceramic. Two front windows are $200 or $250. Every price includes film, installation and a lifetime warranty.
In a Calgary winter, quality film cuts glare from low sun and snow, blocks UV (which still gets through glass in January), and adds shatter resistance to icy-cold windows. It also protects your interior from the −30°C to +30°C swing that cracks and fades unprotected dashboards.
Leave the windows up for the first 3 to 5 days. After that, clean the inside of the glass with a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free glass cleaner, and never run an ice scraper over the inside of a tinted window.
Pair your tint with ceramic coating in Calgary for paint protection, paint protection film for rock-chip defence, or start fresh with car detailing in Calgary.
